Video

I've been working hard on this video montage of our trip. I will eventually add more pics and music, but for now this will do. Hope you all enjoy it. Remember to turn off my music at the bottom of my blog page by pressing pause on the sonific songspot!

We're doing well but tired. We think Ava may have an ear infection from being congested on the flight over. Poor thing just isn't herself lately. So tomorrow I will take our first trip to the doctor. Sleep is short and not often enough but we're hangin' in there. We've been able to tag team which has been nice. It just kills me not being able to make her feel better. Tears at the heart. But hopefully tomorrow we will turn a corner.

Jan, that was so beautiful. Those days are going to seem so far away so soon - you'll be glad that you took the time to make that. The music was perfect. It's bound to make everyone cry happy tears.

I hope Ava feels better soon. If it is an ear infection, the good news is that the medication works very quickly. It is so easy for them to get ear infections when they are congested - it's the dreaded news at our house: "My ears feel funny." HIT THE DECONGESTANTS, GUYS!!!" :)

So I guess it's your formal initiation into parenthood, fun fun! I hope the doctor's visit goes well. Let us know how it goes.

Also let Ashlie know about the shower dates so we can start planning that... I thought about that today.

I love the pictures - I can't wait for a time to look through them all.

Kisses to Ava,
Love to all,
Jen

Oh, Jan, that was so precious. It should come with tissues! Beautiful. Daddy will boohoo when he sees it, I know. You did a great job. Ava will love it too, when she is older.
Talk to you later.
Love,
Mom

That was such a wonderful way to tell the story of Ava. Beth warned me about the need for tissues! I had never heard the song before and it goes so beautifully! Thanks! Mom K
